Amoeba Crunch is, or perhaps was, twenty-first century eighties music.

Billed at the time as the world's first "forestronic" act, AC attempted to span the admittedly wide gap between field recordings and electronic pop.

This is the best of Amoeba Crunch, curated from the LPs Sixteen Worlds (2006), Alternate Worlds (2008), and Aleph Null (2008) and some previously unreleased bits.

Note: This album originally included a cover of New Order's "The Perfect Kiss," but it was removed in May 2022 to comply with Bandcamp's ban on cover songs. It is still readily available elsewhere on the interwebs -- promise.

The last three tracks represent a transition from digital audio workstations to live performance, a process which ultimately came to fruition in the work of the Casual Distractions. For more on that topic, see thecasualdistractions.bandcamp.com.
